Education Conversations 2021 18 August
On 18 August, KT hosted the Education Conversation Series webinar in partnership with the University of Johannesburg’s Faculty of Education. Themed: COVID-19 and the catalysing of a 4IR driven culture of learning, the webinar was chaired by Prof Kathija Yassim from the Department of Education Leadership and Management in the Faculty of Education at the University of Johannesburg. Mr. Andreas Makgoba – Topic: How to digitally equip schools for 4IR. Makgoba is principal at from Lekkerbreek Primary School.
Ms. Mukateko Sithole – Topic: Rolling out robotics in schools. Sithole is a senior education specialist at the Limpopo Department of Education (Capricorn North District).
Ms. Lindiwe Mahlali – Topic: Teaching Coding through knitting. Mahlali is Founder and CEO of Africa Teen Geeks, and Apodytes (Pty) Ltd.
